This page contains answers to common questions handled by our support staff, along with some tips and tricks that we have found useful and presented here as questions.

Is my billing confidential?

Yes.  We use a dedicated and encrypted method of electronically submitted claims to ensure confidentiality and privacy.  Syndetic systems also require a two level password to enter our computer system.  If a computer remains inactive for 15 minutes the system will log off the user and a sign-on is once again required for access.

Any hardcopy (paper) documents are also filed daily in lockable file cabinets.

How often can I submit my claims?

As often as you like.  Some clients send log sheets daily, others weekly, while others send in logs at the end of the month.  The cost is no greater if you bill more frequently.

When will Syndetic send my claims to the insurance?

Normally within two business days of receipt of your log sheets.  However it is often the case that claims are submitted the same day log sheets are received as we understand a quick turnaround time of your claims is financially beneficial to our clients.

Will I reach someone to talk to if I have a question and will I be charged?

We understand that perhaps the only available time you have is between sessions or a cancelled appointment.  These little windows of time may be the only chances you have to make a call therefore we try to make ourselves available so that you can speak to a Customer Service representative immediately.  If, however we are unavailable our phones give you the immediate option to leave a message with NO lengthy menu options.  We normally return calls no later than the following business day.

What would Customer Service be if we charged?  No, there is NO charge for calling Syndetic even if it's daily.  Our business was built on provider suggestions and a willingness to help you.

Isn't it expensive to have someone do my medical biling?

You decide.  Syndetic offers three levels of service with each specifically designed by listening to existing clients.  When you factor in how long it takes you to:

  1. "Please continue to hold for the next available rep" or
  2. "Your call is important to us, please continue to hold" and
  3. Factor in your time for filling out claims yourself, or
  4. Buying a computer/programs to submit claims yourself including the time involved
  5. Postage
  6. and anything else we may have forgotten that you can think of while reflecting on all that you do.

Syndetic can make things easier, more efficient, and less of a stress.
